Lukomir is avillage in Bosnia and Herzegovina, placed in the municipality of Konjic. Lukomir is the highest altitude and most remote village in the entire country. Lukomir lays at an altitude of 1,495 m on the Bjelasnica mountain. This village represents a symbol of the historical, cultural, architectural and environmenta heritage of  Bosnia and Herzegovina. Tomb originating from the 14th and 15th exist at the village and suggest that it was inhabited for hundreds of years.It is unique for its old stone houses, which are about 200 years old and covered with cherry wood shingles, as well as for its traditional clothes. Today women are knitted garments that have been worn centuries ago.
